Could have warned me Garf that Chris was into that sort of caper!! I had lunch with him yesterday. Luckily, he didn't try to tap me and the missus up for a bit of slippin' and slidin' around the lounge!! He did squeak a bit when he walked though, reckon he bought the whole waterproof outfit. Pants and all! Anyway, can't see what the fuss is with all of these courses. I've never bin on one in my life. I've only ever lost two boats and had the Lifeboat out four times!! Waste of time.

Normally we only ask nice ladies to join the two of us for a bit of slipping and sliding around on the sofa, prefer not to have the chap join us.......;-)

as for you not having done any courses, you were born on the back of a fishing boat wern't ya?

Re knots

Codders,

dont bother trying to learn the pictures of a knot; try this mindlessly, tie it over and over until your hands retain the memory of doing it. Looks a bit weird though grown men playing with bits if rope! The girlfriend doesnt think much of it when I find a useful new knot to learn.

What we really need here is someone who can put all the useful ones in wmv or some such format, theres a little job!

Hope this helps, hope boat is progressing well. Had another nice weekend in Swannage again.
