The new part is supposed to arrive in the mail tomorrow, just in time for the next batch of wet weather. I'm pleased enough with the outfit, but considering I ordered her last January at the boat show and was told delivery would be the second week in April, I'm a bit disappointed that I've not actually been able to make use of her yet.

weird trailer setup, never seen it before...looks good though.

is that a swing beam?

looks like golfcart type wheels?

better to use than a conventional roller?

cheers

It's a Vanclaes trailer, the rear set of rollers is swing beam. I wouldn't say it's any different launching/recovery wise than a normal swing beam. The wheels are non marking & the larger diameter gives a bigger bearing surface over normal rollers. The major differences are, the chassis is stainless, it has disc brakes & sealed oil filled bearings which "hopefully" will reduce maintenance, watch this space
