on a serious note a length of rope and proper weighted trailer allways works for me, even with my road range i use a length of rope, car cost to much to lose on a slip way

Yours is a very light boat - I seem to remember he wasn't so impressed with it on his RIB - or was it because it was new?

Jep my rig weights about 1200kg incl trailer and full fuel tank so it performs much better than when it was on the Revenger , now Sake has a 29ft Revenger with two 250hp Verado , a real drag monster !

There used (when I were a lad) to be a tee shirt available, with an image of a large USAian Cop on it. The caption was "What we have here is a total lack of respect for the law".

Good job those double yellows are a bit dodgy...

You've got to understand that this is the 'Sarf of Englund' and our councils don't spend its money on bigger and better roads to accomodate its massively increased population. No it spends our taxes on double yellow lines, speed bumps and anything else it can think of just to annoy the average driver. Why. Because how dare you own and run a car when global warming is the in thing to talk about and Stage Coach (What a name for a bus company, makes you think of Dick Turpin) get so much of our taxes as well. Shame they can't get me to work at 6 in the morning. Period, no ifs no buts. They just can't do it. And if they could I know it would take one bus transfer and over an hour to go 12 miles to work. Which takes 15 mins normally. Unless I get stuck behind an empty bus.................................... Along with 20 other cars.
