She looks like brand new ! Great pic's. Does she have new tubes or did you restore them.

Dan.
Sorry about delay in reply Dan. No they are not new tubes. Ribshine and elbow grease!! The RIB is about 15yrs old and has been used but not abused! A couple of repaired holes patched up but thats about it really (on the rib when we purchased. We replaced a couple and did them properly!) Work included moving console forward and re-enforcing console and installing a fuel tank in the console with filler and vent, new electric's, VHF, Fishfinder, rev guage, GPS, moving compass, new bottle rack, fuel filter, steering cable, nav lights, brenderup trailer, towing eyes, re gelled the floor (non slip), and finally a nice new wooden steering wheel. We also have changed the engine twice on her as well!!
We have ordered a new Excaliber 7m and shuld be ready at the end of March this is what it will be like!!!

Good looking boat Oisre!

What engine(s) are you planning to put on her and what make is the console? (It does not look like the "traditional" Excalibur console.)

Howya Da Butt
We are putting on a 175hp FICT which is a year old and came from a twin set up.
The console is a new design (well spotted!) Its to our own spec but will inevitably be used again. we wanted it that size so we awkard divers in drysuits can wander around the boat a bit more. The other console is primarilary for crusing. We will have removable seats and bottle rack up the front as well. (to suit our needs at any given time. ie crusing or diving) I think we are due to get the console this weekend and can start installing the gadgets, cutting out holes etc. (to save a few bob )

Alcohol fueled Rib

Pls find following alcohol fueled rib as discovered on recent trip to spain. Works well when driven on a combination of spirits and is at its best in the early hours. Only problem is the weird looking crew. They are very slow to respond to orders.
