Last seen leaving Cardiff Easter Sunday........

now snowbound in Newfoundland!

Spirit of Cardiff ashore at the RNYC, Conception Bay South. Pic taken on 21st Dec. They had about 30cm snow on 18th and more whilst I was there.

Nice one, Alan. That Easter was quite something, wasn't it? Di and I met a lot of nice people at the parties. Sadly, we were so new to the scene that most names, many from this Forum, didn't stick.

But thanks to Jools and his slide show on disc that I got from him after the event, I can at least picture the Crazy Canadian. There's a snap of her rockin' the night away with my equally, if not crazier, daughter Katie. It was taken long after Di and I had given up and tottered off to bed.

I think Priddy was also still standing, and, reputedly, the last to leave.

Nice pictures Alan. Mike, at that week-end of the SOC send-off, was the young lady who wore a Harrison Ford type hat any connection to you?

hi alan , i know this might sound a little silly , but have you any plans on bringing soc back to cardiff one day ? i for one would be proud to see her back , after all it was you & her that got me into ribbing in the first place, most of s/wales looked forward to the south wales echo,s reports on your progress & i know you would be certain of a heros welcome in cardiff anytime, regards bryan
