Like the bigman I too spent a lot of my early years at Kilchattan bay as I belong to Bute. Still looks good!

Awe Bigman you let the cat out of the bag!! I was leaving it to nearer the time as i did not not want to put them off all together I am sure Tony's 'babygrow' will not give our resident clegs much of a fight Just think he could go home with quite a few 'RED' Argyll REMINDERS of his visit to the 'West'

Yes but I know what you lads are like when you have no home comforts .. no fast broad band, no MacDonalds or KFC's within 5, 10 nay 100 miles, no wide screen tellys, no motorways outside your town ... you might even have to drink .... tap water ... I'm sure your host will look after you very well ... but the scots are a hardy breed .. we fear no insects, and take to prisoners ... but the fear of the midge ... the bite 'o the cleg..... the FEARSOME RIGOR THAT SETS IN AFTERWARDS laid waste tae many a warrior

Not so much a "mozzy" as a big fly with a paintball gun fired at point blank range.

Aye. Clegs were once thought to be the only organism able to get a drink out of a Scot. I'm currently sporting a bite from one (a Cleg, that is) - the aftermath is gory and persistant. Enjoy!

As regards the drinking of tapwater in Scotland, let me say that I've visited the remotest of it's wonders and have yet to resort to drinking tapwater. I learned years ago to drink me whisky neat
