Those photos are fantastic

the photos on Wikipedia look dull by comparison but sunset/sunrise photos are often brilliant. Here's one of a Caribbean paradise with an old pirate ship in the foreground. Oh no it isn't it's Stanley harbour, clinging to the side of some godforsaken rock in the Antarctic

that'll be the Lady Elizabeth then wont it? Dramatic looking thing with the sun behind it. Is that yardarm still hanging on by a single slowly rusting shackle? When it does eventually fall it'll wake up the folk all over the islands.

Lovely stuff. Looks a bit chilly though, and is that snow on the mountains?

Found a few more pics seeing as this is generating a bit of interest.

Tim.

great hotel

Bloody good place to keep all those illegal imigrants that trashed the processing centre . Then send all the double glazing salesmen out there to sell them some windows ,

Is there a fog horn or lights on them , could be a dodgy thing in the dark of Fog

Here are 2 more

The Lady Elizabeth again but looking up from in front of her (taken from my rib) a really imposing vessel

The Jhelum framed by a couple of gorse bushes the other morning absolutely flat calm (dead chuffed with that pic!)

Dave if you approach the FIC jetty from the south there's not much water, was that why the Conservation rib needed a new engine

And lotsa Kelp eh-I was walking along the road when i saw them! Is the conservation rib still on the suzi 50hp. It used to have a 100 plus 2 stroke on it before that - which was a bit of overkill on a 5m attaque
Now then, whilst I am on- one of my diving club clients are planning an expedition!!!! I'll pm you!
