Was nice to meet you Steed, (judging by that nice rib of yours steed you have been out birthday pressie shopping already)
and thanks Ian and Manos we will see how well she goes tomorrow.
I think I will head towards Haslar slip tomorrow.
Not used it before, anyone know how much they charge and whether the parking (car and trailer) is any good or not and is the slipway access all states of tide?

Hi robin,

Haslar is free, plenty of parking there also.

its a compacted slip which is useable 3 or 4 hours either side of high tide and well sheltered.



pete7 knows more about it than me as he introduced it to me



boat launch have a good write up on it.

there is a number of other slips on the sea front but in a SWerly are dodgy. At least for me !!!!
