You should have mentioned this a week ago... some of the UK's most experienced RIBsters travelled over from the Channel Islands to RIBex and could have either brought your RIB, or accompanied your mate.

BTW, is this your Ferrari driving mate? Anyway, I thought that your accountant was keen to make the trip?

No it's not my Ferrari mate - he is a bit of a lounge lizard and getting cold and wet has no appeal to him at all.

Accountant was keen to make the trip but he is now too busy as I am. I may have to dash off to Bulgaria next week!!!

The joys of running your own business!!!

sorry not to hang on and believe every word you say codders, but i would have rather thought that any normal boat builder who has been building a boat for someone would want it off their premises asap and the money in the bank. however if the money has not been forthcoming or perhaps constant changes and mods required then perhaps the patience is with the builder who has had a large rib taking up valuable space in his business while he waits for payment and collection.

obviously none of us know the real story (honest ) as you try to keep it all secretive and talk in circles and keep people guessing

me i dont give a damn as i have a rib now and having lots of fun

Everything basically - full on computer services - everything from fixing hardware to technical architecture.

We do a lot of remote admin - hence the stupid hours I have to keep. Also helpdesk support etc.

Hoping to pick up work with a Bulgarian company shortly. Offices in Cardiff and Sofia.

We aren't very big at the moment - 15 of us but hopefully getting there!!!

Ah! that explains it, I was chatting to an Australian guy in a pub the other day. He mentioned Prosport, I whacked him with my handbag and called him a 'Cheeky B*****d', he must have been refering to the Rib co.

Interesting stuff, best of luck to you, starting your own business is always diffiicult. Far be it for me to suggest abuse of JK's trade membership but have you got a web page, all sorts of people browse ribnet, and RIBs seem to attract IT consultants You may pick up some business, they always say its not what you know, but who you know
