Isle of Skye

Left Red Bay tuesday afternoon - stopped overningt in Craobh Marine. Refuelled me and boat at Arisaig whose entrance looks frightning on the charts, but is actually well signposted. Onward to Sound of Sleat and to Kyleakin, but there was not much room on pontoons. So tied up opposite the pontoons of Kyle of Lochalsh - only boat there.
Stayed in lovely wee guest house run by Helen Fisher (Stein House) and had be best ever breakkie in Scotland. Rather nice pub opposite that i was tempted to frequent and sample many fine ales and a few nippy sweeties.
Had planned to go round west coast of Skye with two stops - one for the fine ale at Stein, and Talisker Distillery at Harport. Alas the forecast gave good for the morning and westerly 5/6 up to 7 in the afternoon.
So ran back home next morning, refuel at Tobermory - long run 150nm.
Total 365nm.

Thank you Kerny.
I always think of one of my favourite authors Terry Pratchett - with Death watching over all those sand timers.
