This rib was shipped to Jersey last year and 'rigged' by Gallichan Marine. Notice I put rigged in inverted commas. They made a complete mess of things as they could not be bothered to follow Malan's (the designer) instructions. The boat just did not perform well at all. After much mucking about they got it right and she goes extremely well now.
The trailer is a dead- giveaway as one can clearly see the running boards along the side poking out of the cover at the back. BTW, she is definitely NOT underpowered and will do a comfortable 38 knts due to the efficient hull and foil system. You will see father and son spending countless hours in St. Aubins bay wake-boarding and skiing in the summer, Lee.
Charles, you really are an incredible man, you seem to know everyone and everything over here in Jersey to do with RIB's. I thought I knew all the right people, but you sir really do know everyone!
I look forward to seeing Rob out then! 38 knots from 2 x 50 4 strokes, wow!
