Sunday 4th November

Tony,

Thanks for remembering you Camera, there are some great shots. I am going to dry out and give the bottom a clean next weekend and those shots just go to show it needs doing! ALso my flat out was a couple of knots down although I didnt want to over do it as there was a bit of a chop.

What was up with your engine?

Also a bit of advice with three of us on today at times the weight was unevenly distributed and I could really feel the prop trying to prop steer the boat to port when the weight was that side although as soon as the tube touched she straightened up. Trimed nose down it was worse, nose up it got better. I suppose the answer is just move the weight, but any tips would be appreciated.

Anyway good to see your fine machine, you can really see where the extra length makes the ride more comfortable, and maybe we could do some more trips next year, maybe the start of the Guernsey Massive.

Hi Comfy (and Tony)
Thanks for a great time on your RIB - both Mrs Genie and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the Coastline is definitely on our short list of RIB's to consider.
I take the point on the weight distribution - I guess I'll have to eat less pies if there's a next time, heh heh.
Well impressed with the ride of the Coastline, very secure and dry despite some aerial moments and an impressive 37 knot run in that chop!
Tony's got the photos we sent, so maybe he'll upload a few pics of his very tasty Scorpion!!
Big fun!
Genie
