For those of you feeling a bit adventurous..

Just a picture showing why we don't go boating here in the Great Lakes region (Lake Erie) of the U.S. of A. in January.... this picture dates from a lovely wednesday afternoon... last wednesday. A little known fact.. Maritime researchers and historians have estimated the total population of shipwrecks that have occured in the Great Lakes region to be between six thousand and fifteen thousand. The greatest storm in recent history occured in 1913, a three day blizzard generating hurricane force winds that destroyed 19 freighters and stranded 19 others. Whiteout snow squalls, 90 mph winds and 35 foot waves doomed the crews of 12 ships which sank with all hands... Five of the ships have never been found...Never underestimate the power of Nature!!

RE: message..

You are a better man than me Codprawn, I don't think I would want to be out in those wave conditions in ANY kind of boat, much less mine, SHIP maybe... Hope your project is moving along. Pat

Have your sleep patterns changed recently, Codders? I notice you are now regularly posting at 0500hrs rather than your more usual 0200hrs My personal theory is that you have a small alarm connected to your computer which is activated the moment one of our transatlantic cousins comes on line in the middle of the night, thus enabling you to jump out of bed and respond immediately to any posts.

Sleep patterns - what are they???

They don't call me the Prince of Darkness for nothing!!!

We do a lot of remote admin work and server work etc which can only be done when the annoying workers are out of the way - hence lots of late nights.

Prob helps I only sleep about 4hrs every 24 but it does catch up sometimes - YAWN!!!!
