Pieter,
(way to go on another victory)

Are the tube diameter on the Falcon race boat bigger than the pleasure boats ????

I look at the pic of Manos and berg boats and the tubes do not look as big as your race red OK foods boat on page 35.

Is this just the way it looks or are they bigger????

Tanks

I don,t know why you could not race the one you have.I know its a little more weight than the race hull but that could work for you if conditions are ruff.Right now their are no details on racing here in the USA with ribs.I will start it up, looking into offshore class first. If we can not get into offshore class their are other classes to race in.

Their are some formula deep vee classes we may qualifiy in.

I could also makes some call to see if we can race in the top of Michigan Marathon race. That would be a ball.

If all these do not pan out I will start up our own races here on Lake St,Clair. We could do some here and some out by you and Fred.

i could use this one, but i was planing on geting a race on anyways i have a container coming over soon so i have quite a bit of room. i would be very interested in the offshore. as for the top o the b the river would be a bit triky but a circuit around the lake would be fun

LOA

Just to clear the matter - Internation UIM rules state a RIB is measured tip of bow to bottom of transom, excluding the pontoon protrution behind the transom - in otherwords waterline length - the part which primarily runs in the water. This excludes the motor or any trim-tabs. A full inflatable (zapcat) is measured tip to tip. Interesting to note also is that on a RIB sideview, pontoons need to consitute 40% of the vertical height of the boat.

Pieter,
Can you measure your boat as stated belowe and tell me what the two measurments are exactly??? A and B

level the boat on trailer and drop a weighted plum line stright down from the tip of the bow to the ground. Now drop another weighted plum line from the bottom back of the transom to the ground. Then measure from plum line to plum line. What is this Distance??? we will call this (measurment A)

Now do the same as above from the tip of the bow but drop a weighted plum line from the tip of the cone on the back pontoon.
Use a boat with the cones on it.What is this Distance??? we will call this (Measurment B)

The reason I,am asking is I do not have access to one of your boats and I need to know so I can call the Offshore racing Chairmen here and explain to see if it will quality or how can it quality Thanks
