Firework trip on the Thames

A wee bit cold and dark but well worth the effort!!

Great night to be on the Thames.

I tied up at Putney Pier for dinner and eventually went back to my Fulham mooring at 3.00am.

River was like glass...not a ripple.

But where are the fireworks?

Is the tidal Thames well lit up at night? May venture out one envening.

Its very well lit up from Tower Bridge down to about Wandsworth Bridge.

Once past Putney gets a bit dark.

Things to really look out for are the big unlit ships's mooring buoys and the floating platforms which collect the rubbish.

It's a great experience to be out there at night.
