Must be like the Phantom then, I so much looking forward to getting her into the water.
Do you think a 200 HP Yamaha Vmax will be good on this boat ?
(I'm also looking at a new 250 Suzuki, but I do have the 200 in stock)
Rene, is a VERY FAST boat if the keel is as I described it. It is a Phantom modified hull 1000000%
How long is it??.... and who is making this in SA?
With a hull LOA of 6.1 mtrs in mine and flat seas no weights on I do about 57 knots full trim and with 200VMax (carb not the HPDI).
Yours looks much longer about 8-8.5 mtrs so it probably do 60-65 knots even more. It all depends on the boat weight, prop and engine mounting aft. Thrty put it one noch up. You will see that it becomes very responssive to the steering and trim, your top speed goes sky high but is quite dangerous if you don't know what you do. Can go upside down very quickly.
How much does she weighs by the way 500-600kgs??
