Farewell to Seahawk

Well that is it today saw the departure of Seahawk. A long drive ahead cos off she is to the West coast of Scotland and to be exact to the Isle of Mull.

so I am now really ribless for the next few weeks. Can't wait for my new Parker 630D "Seahawk 2 "

Looks like

Andre

Your boat looks very much like a Ribeye 580 2000 model, i had one of these 4 years ago, the shape of the tubes and the hull remind me very much of my old boat (with the eyes taken off the front)

Hi Andre

I bet you were sad to see her go after a busy couple of years.

Not long for Seahawk 2 though. Any news?

Quite right it was a sad moment cos have enjoyed many good cruises not to mention the St. Malo one in Sept 2002 and the Cherbourg one last year with Mike C and his wife Sheila. However time to move on. Seahawk 2 will arrive together with PLATYPUS just after Easter as I want to avoid the Easter rush

Yeah, but... didn't Ribeye use some BWM hulls/moulds?? I'm sure I can find a picture somewhere...

Got it! RYA pub. G19/97 front cover- looks like BWM hull with Ribeye logo on tubes.

Sad thing indeed to be separeted from your boat. These kind of wounds only heal with new ones. But they always leave a mark deep in your heart.

Sad Departure

Hi Andre,

A very sad day indeed I for one will miss the fun we had out on the water together. Some very memorable trips for me, especially the Weymouth run . I look forward to seeing you, Wiesia and your new boat very soon.

Very Best Wishes

Kevin.

P.s. Will call you later today.
