Down the Liffey..........

Hey Gav,
I wonder what the speed restrictions on the Liffey really are ? We clocked 49 mph coming under the East link, it felt like being James Bond. He he

On St patricks day we were "stoned" by a gang of scrouts on the quays near the old Irish Press office. Too bad for them I insure most of the cops in the city and one call later two of them spent the next 5 hours in store street explaining their actions to a pissed off customer of mine.

Good username Jackeen, I assume most of your colonial friends on the "mainland" dont know what a Jackeen is ! Were you a north or southsider ?

Jackeen

The picture is building up, I see you are a Dubliner and play the drums !

Looked up Jackeen and it came back with "a drunken, dissolute fellow", so you'll fit right in with the RIB crowd !

I was over there, Dublin, last week, and maybe again later this week, and always see an Avon moored up on a small jetty on the north bank of the Liffey. If I had more time I'd bring my drysuit over and try and blag an outing into the bay with one of you guys. But I never seem to have time

Good luck with the boat.

Slán leat

Mark

Shria Law

Yes Have had a stone dropped on us once, so we always accrelate under bridges, have been up to the new bridge Blackhall Place but keep to the middle in the section at Civic offices as there is a piece of metal jutting up on the left there, it can be tight though with the A frame , at bridges, nice cultural diversity with stonings and Shria Law
