Sorry Jono, my pic of you came out as a white blur which was probably a pretty accurate representation of your boat going down river anyway

I assume you had a good trip back and avoided the rain? - it was nice and calm out there, that's for sure.

Hi

Yes missed the rain! Only 2 hours 30 minutes back to Pwllheli @ 44 knots did Ramsey & Jack Sound.

Good to see you.

I've found the perfect position to hide from the camera now....

I know - twas a good afternoon on Sunday with a moderate 5m swell off the heads, just calming down from the 60knot winds the previous day. That pic was taken just inside the haven near Thorn rock before things started getting a little wet. Dave the other guy with me has a good pic of just the radars on the top of the ferry with a wave in the way somewhere.....
As usual for this kind of weather, we were the only 'pleasure' craft out there

Have you still got my number?

We took a stroll along the Pembs coast path on Sunday pm ,around St Govans & Stack rocks - no boats in sight. Plenty of big waves though

I have indeed

Will give you a shout next time we're planning a trip out - doubt it'll be this weekend, but perhaps the following one.....

Have attached Dave's picture looking back towards West Blockhouse from Mid Channel Rock. You can see the top masts of the ferry when she was around 3 boat lengths away from us - the ferry as you know isn't exactly the lowest craft around
