It's a very fast tide there. It's gone before you know it. I got stuck on the west bank of the river once in a 2.5m yam inflatable. The little outboard had picked up a lobster pot that was only marked by a plastic milk bottle. The split pin sheared off and I was high and dry surrounded by VERY soft sand.

Cracking looking RIB, will have to get together for a cruise sometime
Anytime your over here and fancy a cruise together either from Knott end or Stannah, drop me an email, available most of the time.
Was hoping to get out again sunday and put another couple of hours on the engine, but the forcast aint looking too healthy!

probably not too bad if you put in below the dogleg. Water will leave the end of the jetty 3.30ish and then not back til 5.00 or so. Be a bit muddy at the bottom I expect.

Once the engine is run in and the better weather(hopefully)arrives it would be great to meet up for a cruise John, either Knott end or Stannah. No crew for sunday so not having a play this weekend, typical really when i have a free weekend

Managed a quick launch for a couple of hrs down at Stannah(Blackpool)today and finally christened the humber.Fantastic boat, wanted to stay out longer but due to the tide it wasn't possible.Roll on the summer!!
Very nice set-up. What's on the back a Tohatsu 90hp?

Yep,one brand new shiny Tohatsu 90 tldi.Once its done a few more gentle hours it should push the rib along at a nice rate of knots!Certainly get some more hours on the engine next weekend on the better tides.

JSP!Look forward to a meet up in the near future, espeically if your rib lives up this end of Lancashire.
