Thats pretty funny jyaski. We ran into problems a few times locking through on our way to the Gulf. Our boat was the Red Bastard and some lock operators didn't approve. Some funny miscommunication sometimes as well.

Just went out on the Fat Bastard last night thought I should post some pics. We were debating if there were rocks under us, so I took a flash picture and checked the image. YUP lots a rocks. This was on the Jackson Park Jetty about 6 miles South of Downtown Chicago.

Thanks Pathalla,

We did a lot to clean up the transom and deal with minor dry rot. Get the elephant trunks going again. Removing silly things like the fuel water seperator, hand bilge, electric bilge, etc. Sanding and filling holes in the transom. Remounting the throttle control, putting the battery back under the seat. And fun stuff like all new electrical system, nav lights, stereo. Scrubbing the whole boat with 303 cleaner and scotch pads took hours but the tubes look amazing for 16 years old! All we need now is a new 50hp. Either a Honda 4 stroke or a Yamaha 2 stroke will do the trick.
Future work will be redoing the hull, installing foot straps, and making a back rest for the driver and handles for the passenger. Also thinking of setting the engine up to be able to roll and start again, and getting some kind of a inflatable system for the top of the A frame to right the boat after rolling.

Your electrical setup seems be coming along. Looks really good. Can't imagine all thats involved with two 250 Yamahas

The guy in the pic is the owner. I don't let people steal my soul all that often (not sure why...)
