I know.... I'm in Whitby with Bam Bam and Diverdad lol.

I bought the seat off ribx450 (?) on here for a small sum. Thats the reason its a tad wide, fit for purpose though and stuck down with sikaflex!
It might get wet on Sunday depends if I have to take my better half for a day out anywhere.

Thanks for the comment John, its took me long enough.

Good stuff mate!
How heavy is that Mat? Could do with some by the transom on mine as there's always some water there.

Not real heavy. Was in two minds whether to use it but its real good to walk on, grippy and cushioned.

Cheers mate.
Got it launched today and it flies, scary as hell but the most fun I have had in a long time, got it in the air a couple times and also nearly fell out once or twice!

We used some of that matting for the bottom of the jockey seats and console, so if any water gets in, everything stays dry. I found that the agricultural shops sell it as it is used for Cows to stop them slipping in their own excrement at milking time. Tough stuff!! Used a grinder to shape it.

The stuff I used cut with a knife, its for putting down on grass so you can drive a car on it.

No worries mate.
I was interested myself in finding out the top speed but I had so much fun today I'm not bothered too much now.
I will find the GPS and find out on a flat day.

They are awesome boats and i agree it's not about the top speed but what you can do with it. They just cry out for choppy conditions.

Enjoy.

It was a little choppy today and I had some great fun.

The downside was I jumped into the harbour with my handheld Icom in my pocket, they wern't lying when they said water resistant.
Its drying in the oven as I speak!
