Toddler in bed so an evening Maiden voyage of the little ship "Genebadge". Awesome evening, so different to the sea.

Love it. I'm going to head up river further as soon as I can. Though I can only just plane.

I tried the engine out on the Dee at the beginning of the season. Those rowers didn't like the wake and seamed a little upset when they got wet! Quite a pretty spot have fun.

I could plane "too easily" :-)
6mph speed limit is a pain however once your away from Chester end of the Dee it's very quiet do could plane easily and make reasonable progress at 6mph ;-)

I launched at Sandy Lane in Chester. Council slip and parking, though no one there that I ever see. You're supposed to have a licence if a powered craft, but I've not been caught yet. I'll plead ignorance, start rowing and claim the engine is for emergency.

Must remember to keep mine attached

Not sure if you know but the tall ships race from Dublin is in Liverpool this weekend. Coming in on Thursday and leaving Sunday. If anyone wants to launch from the club let me know and hopefully sort that out for you
