Well, I don't know..... I go away for a few days holiday, (after returning from Cherbourg) and you lot are all bickering about restaurants.....
Here are some light hearted reasons why we didn’t eat at the Fuchsias restaurant ....
1) We were only there for a light lunch on the way home having eaten a huge meal at the Logis de France in Cherbourg the night before.
2) I had intended to go to Barfleur anyway, (but the swim from the visitor mooring buoys was too far so we opted for St Vaast at the last minute)
3) The man who drives the ferry to Tatihou told us the marina gate would close at 2:30, (and we didn't arrive till 12:00, so we didn't have much time)… even though the sheet I had said the gate should close almost an hour later!
4) I fancied moules and frites, (not chips)
5) We are tight sods, (but that’s not the point!)
6) We can go there next time.... which we will!
Thanks for the info though, Dirk..... (Do you look anything like Burt Reynolds by the way???) Actually I think the restaurant guide is a great idea.... What’s the point in having a RIB if you can't eat well?!
Does the Fushia do moule as a starter?

Can't wait to see the photos taken with your camera cos most of my pictures are of Prime Rib II. So I am hoping to see some good shots of Seahawk

Dirk Diggler wasn't played by burt reynolds, you've got your characters mixed up! and there's no way "our" diggers has a 13"er! more like a 13cmer! LOL sorry diggers
