Central London at 50+ knotts - The Great River Race

Under the Thumb shot this on the way back from Poplar Rowing Club after we had finished doing safety cover for the Great River Race.

Northern Exposure Rescue on the Great River Race

Towards the end he had issues with his seating and you can hear him having a paddy!!

Very good day out all in all. Nearly 13hours on the water so we were all a bit exhausted at the end of it!

Would any people be interested in a trip up the NON tidal Thames?

Chris

So far we have done, 2003, 2004, 2005 and obviously 2006. We have been asked for 2007 already!

In 2005 we did the Nelson Memorial Regatta the day before which was a major job!

The longboat was paddled by the drunken vikings, and they were.
