Decent Spinning outfit=9'ishRod and Fixed spool,'Saltwater'model a bonus, but not essensial.
I like Braid, although again not essensial,10ib nylon will do..and a few Lures-Abu Toby's-Dexter Wedges ect and some Pluggs I'd recomend Rappalla's. Floating J13's and J11's,a few snap swivells,a Priest and you'll be sorted for most shallow water Bassing, from Boat or shore
You can also use this outfit for fishing Live Sandeel which can be VERY effective!
'Operation Sea Angler' and 'Hooked on Bass' by my old mate Dr,Mike Ladle are THE diffinitive works on the subject and contain a wealth of information-recently reprinted!
