Have not had the need to source this stuff and cannot put a product name to it but it is a plastic honeycombe design, and is also used as a non slip floor covering, but lends itself to be used as good armouring to rib collars.

Portmere rubber and other such companys should be able to supply.

Pressman, do u now how the stability of the boat will be effected if i remove 2 of the dieseltanks. were are the tanks placed in the seawolf 9000 today? I dont need more than 500l fuel for the future use. Should i remove the back tanks or the 500l tank in the midle of the boat?

E:-)

Moving foward

Hi again, are now moving foward with the project and the boat is now on shore and in the hands of the hull and paint expert :-)
The plan is :
New paint, Dark grey with black seats and black equipment and removel of the "cabin" in front.
Total renowation of the 315 hp cummins engines and changing of dieseltanks from the tank in front to the tanks in the back. The surface drives from Trimax is now taken apart and uppdated.

now why is it everyone else can get their huge boats finished really quickly whereas it takes me forever!

Interesting project, keep the piccies coming. Is it really possible to save up to 2000kg?!!! There must be a lot of stuff you can take out....I guess fuel tanks would weigh a chunk.

First build is always the toughest Slimtim, once you have that one down, it gets easier, designing your own stuff is a helluva undertaking, hats off! Keep working! Carson how about some better pictures? thanks!
