For £80 000 (thats what they paid for the little Avon!!) I'm sure they could have built a better boat than that!

A twin engined boat of that size with all of the communications and safety / rescue gear on would be easily around that sort of price - how much do you think the RNLI boats are?

don't know what they are worth, but its just rediculas.

what rescue gear has it got and communications. apart from gps chart plotter, radio, self riting gear.

Mariner 5 (Arctic 28?) used for anti terrorism in Portsmouth harbour cost something ridiculous like £250k. She is a very sexy looking boat though.
