Basking Shark

I was lucky to get a day afloat this week - assisting with some shark tagging and so forth. Must have seen around twenty sharks, dolphin, porpoise and grey seals. Makes up for the cr@p wx over the last coupla months!

Were you working with a young lady called Rosie by any chance Willk? She was with us in the Bristol Channel first part of the week, before leaving to head back to Ireland / home to tag some Baskers..... Great pics btw.... Well jeal innit

It was so good that I went back out today, just for the craic with a few family and friends. The weather was better and the plankton was thick on the surface. The sharks were filling their boots. We got some nice GoPro action that I'll post once Dan Junior gets it edited...
