Ballistic Annual Breakfast Run 2008

Breakfast run 2008
The annual charity family Ballistic/Boating Dynamix breakfast run was held on 18 October 2008 in Cape Town South Africa. We had perfect summer weather for the 26 boats and 140 people. We launched at Oceana Power Boat Club in the Waterfront and by 10:00 we were all off to Hout Bay. We had a hearty breakfast at The Lookout Deck with its spectacular views over the harbour and Chapman’s Peak.

We took a scenic cruise back past Camps Bay and made a couple of stops for refreshments and a dive off the boats to cool off.

On our way we were greeted by all sorts of marine life, some were privilege enough to have dolphins playing in their boats wakes, many seals and then our grand finale; in the mouth of the Boat Club a huge whale was showing off – to our delight. Absolutely spectacular and breathtaking! What a perfect start to summer!
