Baby's Back
So, there I was........at 08:30 this morning looking out the window of the Shorts Aircraft at the steaming mass of white sea below me, force 7/8, rain and not at all pleasant. I thought to myself I must be completely nuts. Actually, common sense prevailed to some extent, I had my Sportscruiser shipped from Weymouth to Guernsey last night and was on my way to Gsy to collect it. The rib was craned out of the hold of the ship and into the water, with me on it, over to the fuel berth (this was the most harrowing bit of the entire trip) filled up and drove straight into this seething mass of sea. The boat is FANTASTIC, performed superbly and as is always the case, the crew took a pounding, but the boat was fine. So. Richard you were right, and sorry we did not have that beer Julian and Brian.

This must have been the longest cross-channel trip ever. Departed Lymington on 18 September 2002 and arrived in Jersey on 18 December 2002.
Nicely tucked up in her cosy berth in Elizabeth Marina- Jsy.

Yup, new hard bow-nose, new tubes and quite correct Alan, valves on the outside. Had other mods done to make her even safer.

Charles the boat looks FAB!! I'm jelous now. I'll take back all I said about cabin RIBs.
An excuse to persuade Falcon to build something like that for me (if they can) and my daughter asks me all the time for 'an inside boat'.

Lot of debate about this - scorpion wanted to make it yellow as well as a few other people - I insisted on the white, and as you have just said, it does contrast nicely - Cheers
