Avon Adventure 450

Hi guys,

Having recently bought an ex Honda youth rib championship boat I thought i'd throw a few pictures on here and create a sort of running blog of what I'm doing to it over the course of the season.

Replaced the original 40hp motor with a 50hp to make it a little more nippy, hope you like the pics

Alex

Wow, yours looks properly smart mate. That's the sort of thing I'd like further down the line (when I'm earning more than just a student's income).

Would definitely love to take them a blast round the cumbraes and up the kyles! My boat's based at largs so I'm pretty flexible for launching. Would be great if we could get some of the other west coast guys from on here involved too!

Nice rig.
Good to see a honda getting a bath.
Sold my Orkney Fastliner last year with 50 honda to a boy in Largs. My engine gave me 15 years service and never faulted - hope next owner (and yourself) has the same.
