Aquahound's arrived

Collected Aquahound from Ribcraft yesterday morning - straight down to Portland to check she floated and sort out the bits.

Overcast & a bit chilly and limited to 3,000 revs (ish) for the first couple of hours, but still handled nicely. Even launched & recovered without a hitch on the very shallow slip

Even let Mrs T have a play.

Will get her down to Dartmouth next weekend & try to get out again.

Will continue to try to understand the plooetter & radio set ups & interfaces in the meantime!

Few photos attached

Have to say - very happy with her.

Thanks for the positive replies.

Have to say, a lot of thought, appreciation of others' experience & opinions, as well as our own views went into the manufacturer & spec, so many thanks to all Ribnetters who helped shape this directly or indirectly, and to the guys at Ribcraft who built her.

Spent most of the day - when I've been able to get the pups off her - doing all the little important jobs, including drilling into the console to fit an elastic cargo net (!), designing / making foot blocks for the smallest pup and working out where things will go. Even missed the first half of the Rugby!

I'm particularly proud of the paw print after the name - bit of a challenge for the cutter

Hoping for good weather next weekend to get the family out on her.
