Sadly my results couldn't hold a candle to your action shots.

I instructed Michael my 14 year old son to take 3 runs well to the seaward side of the platform, culminating in a tight turn to starboard before the channel marks.

Every time the boat approached I felt the need to wave frantically, as some manic gesture to indicate more searoom. The locals took this to indicate that I was involved in some kind of personal distress.

As a consequence, I have one shot of nothing but grey water and no useful shots of the boat coming towards the platform at all. I only have relieved shots of the boat going back for it's next run.

Having survived this ordeal, I felt it was time for a pint and whilst tying up next to a 6m Tornado in Yarmouth, I made a mental note of his broken locker on the stern bench. As we got collared by Bernie for mooring fees last weekend, I was in a rush to stow the gear and get ashore before being accosted again. I negotiated the tubes with ease but my next natural footfall was the broken locker. Sadly it was no match for my nimble 17 stones and I found myself in the Tornado's well, surrounded by shards of broken locker hatch.

I then had to go around the local hostelries asking "Anyone own a Tornado that's missing a locker hatch ?"

Still, it beats being in the office.
Thanks Brian sorry but this is better than the joke thread I am having a c*** day in the office just looked at this and nearly wet myself hope the bruiseing is not too bad . Sorry Ian to go away from the main line of the thread, brilliant pictures I think there will be a queue at that platform text week.
