Did you open her up full? I know it's early days but those Etecs don't require much running in do they?

What sort of speed did you get? Looks pretty quick in the pics.

up to 60mph on a 24pitch 3 blade, will go more if I trim her out and a little more throttle to go

Not bad at all - is it a light boat? Mine will only swing a 19 or 21" - thats why I need more than 225hp!!!

standard hull and Aircraft hull.
The Aircraft hull has more curves in it to catch the air

The reason Ged's Boat goes fast

Now I'm really jealous as I couldn't stay to see the new Full Morty launched and now to see that Pat got the chance to drive it too
The reason it goes so quickly is the engine cleverly disguised under the cover of Etec
A fabulous Job Ged, looking forward to seeing you at the weekend (probably only a distant view of the wake!)

GED, That looks a bit like the "scalloped hull" on Ballistics. Ballistics are fast, but many people think they have compromised the ride comfort for that bit of extra speed. How does the ride comfort compare on the Air craft then - compared to a more "standard hull"?

The ride comfort is the same if not better than other hulls as the air softens the landings. The best part of the hull is in the turning of the boat, put it at full lock, throttle on full and it will turn within a very tight circle and wont skip out....its like running on rails
