Plans for 2013 will be finalised later this year.

Advice from the locals - can you still get some cracking days then or will the weather have closed in for the winter?
You can get cracking days any time of year (I've had amazing days when I had to clear the snow off the slipway to launch!) but unfortunately as this "Summer" has shown in Scotland even when it should be good weather it can be dreadful (although the very far NW had some great weather)!

As others have said May/June can usually be best weather - but if you have appropriate clothing and aren't allergic to rain you should be able to get some fun in October. You are unlikely to get much shorts and t-shirt / bikini weather though.
