As I have told Kerny, Hadd and the boys you all would better to come up for ERR in May and either do the week after or the one before based at Easdale. You can't beat it for everything.

Ahh! but am I wrong Had many a good spring bank in Oban over the years. Usually when they've been having cr4p darn sarf. The west coast seems to get the first of the spring Atlantic highs.

It's the same here across the Pond - May and June are the two settled months. I've visited the west of Scotland in early May quite a few times and overall, the weather has been excellent - cool, clear and dry.

Ye but it was a bit tongue in cheek banter. Of course yore right. Even the Irish invaders agree with you. That's why I suggested ERR week for the the boys. As W knows we have always had good wx for the wend except this year on the Fri. Eh Willk!!?

Excuse me if Im being a little forward gents BUT i wouldnt mind tagging along if you do this next year? Im only a half hour..ish up the road from Oban and would like to do some miles on the water, thats if you dont mind an old Searider taking up the rear!

Ive seen alot of the water around there but mainly fromm a creel boat or ferry... it just isnt the same!

Don't see it being a problem local knowledge is always welcome around those waters
