A night on the Dart

We had been waiting a few weeks for the right weather and tides for this and Friday 6th we set off straight after work.
Launched from Paignton 7:30pm and headded round to the Dart, stopped on the public berth for a few hours and had tea in the Windjammer.

Went up the river to Dittisham around 10pm and found an empty mooring for the night. Used the trailer cover for shelter and had a nice quite night on the river.

Nice chap came and removed £5 from us in the morning 'it's cheaper than parking in Torquay for the night' he said with a smile. Warned us the bad weather could be in sooner than expected so we headded straight back to Torquay for dinner at Belowdecks.
