A great day out

At last! I found someone to go out in a boat with. Plus we finaly got Bill on the water. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here is the story.

Thanks to Dave for a fantastic day out. Great chap, great boat.

The assembled throng were:

KH (WGS), Bill Davison, Peter Davison, David Manning, Stuart and his two lads.

The Boats: Avon 3.5m sib, old, battered, but great fun - with 8hp Mariner (courtesy of DM), Avon 5.5m Searider with 115hp Yamaha. classic 1960's speedboat (lovingly restored by Stuart) with 70hp Mariner.

The place: Upton Marina on the River Severn.
