Perhaps Mr Fuller will acknowledge the benefits of tubes now, if only to keep the sandwiches dry...
That is a stunning shot. Along with all the other action shots !

Still feeling the effects now. I think pretty much everyone that went over to Torquay agrees that it was certainly a classic CTC race and worthy of it's reputation as one of the toughest races around. Despite the forecast being offshore and no more than a 6, I'm sure it was at least a force 7! I certainly got back wet and cold despite being in a 37' Hunton with 1000HP sadly in 6 1/2 hours which was 1/2 hour too long!

A photo from the Monday - at slow speed!

The boat was launched late on Saturday and we just reached the start line on Sunday. All running well - but a problem with an engine loom stopped an engine and an early retirement.

Much potential and they saw some good speeds on the way back to Portsmouth.

Many thanks - pretty amazing to think she made it onto the water and to the start bearing in mind where the build was just a week before!

Just needed a few more days to check everything over, fit the bow tank pick-up and do some basic set-up work and things would have been so much better. But those conditions were going to be punishing for a fully set-up boat - but much more so for one that had only been launched just over 12 hours earlier!

Thanks
Adam

She is a new brand - PPG. Also a new design as well.

Pretty exciting project, the boat is a real combination of performance, style and practicality. The boat is 11metres , triple step hull form, forward cabin - but with many lay-out possibilities.

She will be exhibited at the Southampton boat show.
