A day on Loch Etive with The Gurnard

Now my boating season is in full swing .. I wanted to get the 4.3m long Quicksilver ready for some exposed sea adventures.

I wanted to ensure my DIY patches are sound ..and the outboard running well.. as it wasn’t used much last season.

Three days on Loch Etive proved all is shipshape so Im now heading round Eigg Muck Rum and Canna in the next few days.. I'm also trying movies with a small video of a day’s fishing on Loch Etive with some friends.

Hope you find it of interest..it is a little different from my normal photo write ups..but hopefully it tells a fishy tale just as well.

Music is by Runrig.. one of my favourite Scottish Bands

Enjoy
The Gurnard.

Looks fantastic. Every year I promise myself to head up that way to have a go on the water. Every year I fail to do so.

Good to see the boat is holding up ok after its winter respite, but even better that it's skipper is back in shape for its adventures...

Many thanks guys for all your comments ..and apologies for the late reply.

I hurried off ...into a glorious May weather window after posting the Loch Etive video. Then spend four days under a blue ..cloudless sky.. Exploring Eigg Rum and Canna.

Its around the many remote and unspoiled Scottish islands .. where the sea turns true turquoise ..

I will post the full adventure once I settle and get some free time.. unless of course..another weather window opens into a new adventure.

Thanks again everyone for your kind words.
