Had seen this boat out on the Bay before,but my first chance to get up close and get some shots.
The skipper runs trips ,part -time ,out of Dana landing Mission Bay and we had an interesting chat about the boat.
Especially interesting was the fact the Coast Guard wanted him to instal railings around it, before granting his passenger carrying license
Finaly he took the examiner out for a ride and came to an understanding that he could operate without them
Aluminium hulled Northwind with shock compenating pods at the bow and a built in head. (what luxury!)
Also has underwater cameras for viewing marine life.
