Right, I decided to take a chance with a 750KG trailer. Drove down and bought Sailmaker's Hallmark Rollercoaster. It was a great buy and is in very good condition. Sailmaker is a great lad, couldn't wish to meet someone more friendly. But I have to say I hate him as the 5.4 SR he has what must be the cleanest one known to man! If it go's missing Nick, it was me!

Just got back from the weighbridge. Plan was if it was over then I have a decent trailer to use as a trade in against a new one. Had to wait ages for the weighbridge to be calibrated and the lads to have there coffee and fag break. But good news ~of sorts~ whole thing came in at 735KG, I thought it would be allot closer so I'm happy.
BUT

I have to tow the boat totaly empty. No fuel tanks, no battery not even a fender. But I've got my ticket

What van are you using to tow it?

750kg unbraked will be ok, in that case.

Shame to have to remove the battery.

Yeah it's a VW tansporter '07, Phill you should be a copper
The battery will be THE pain in the arse as you have to jiggle it about to squeeze it in. Rather like a virgins wedding night. But hey ho, what needs to be
