Wanted: Steering arm for 1983 Yamaha 40hp

Just on the offchance that someone out there has a steering arm (to attach onto the end of the teleflex rod) for a Yamaha 40hp 1983 model, it will save me having one fabricated.

Also looking for a gear lever assembly for a Yamaha 2003 9.9hp 4 stroke.

You never know, you dont ask, you dont get!!

Barnet Marine always have a few in for about £40.
I'd get a cheap one and get it made the right length for about a fiver.

Thanks for the pics Phil, my Yamaha 40hp 1983 model is slightly different, as in the end of the steering arm is attached to the centre of the 'handle' via a angle bracket I'll put a few pics up.
