You might benefit from planking in a simple mock-up in ply for a trip or two. I find them less useful than they look! I removed mine, admittedly, I have four jockey seats....

That's interesting Willk - might try that - don't really want to ask hubby to "create" something only to find I then don't like it or want - he'll just moan about me being typically female

Was thinking about just the general size - could be done with crates or boxes tied together. Test the position allowing for a fully raised motor. Pretend you have storage in it. Sit on it during a choppy run, it's a fairly wet spot on most ribs. In particular - note how much deck space you have left. Might be just what you want - might not!

Shame you didn't mention the extra seating/storage before. Lee from Leeway RIBs is based in West Cowes. I would have put money on him having something laying around his workshop that would have suited.

You could always ring him, www.leewayribs.co.uk

Or this one. Look under products for some consols and storage.

Give him a ring and ask him if he has any seconds, I bought a seconds rear seat base several years ago for a fraction of the price. I couldn't have told you what was wrong with it, it was so good.

Tell him you got his name from me and mention RIBnet

Will do - sounds like a cunning plan Andy - some good looking stuff there and already cheaper than some I've seen
