Wanted - Metal fabricator (stainless steel)

It seems as good a place to ask as anywhere so here goes.....

I am going to add a seat extension to the searider jockey console and with one thing and another, mainly mini-me doesn't go diving he's too young, I have decided that the way forward will be a construction of tubular stainless steel.

Two 'horse-shoe' shaped bits one which will slide into two pieces of tube secured to the existing console and the other welded to the back of this forming a combined backrest and pair of feet. I will probably get pads on the two feet rather than leave simple open tube to chew away at the deck.

Sooooooo, any idea's who would be able to manufacture this piece plus the two slides which will go onto the jockey seat? It would be nice if it was neat and shiny, my mate the Ancient diver is going to do the wood, foam and upholstery bit so it's a relatively straightforward stainless fab.

Any thoughts gratefully received.

Can't help with a fabricator but this may help from a design point of view. It's one I was givens ago. The top cushion is a ply board with padding and
material stapled in place and clamped on top with 2 bolts and plates, so about 3 mins to remove. We use a webbing strap to hang on to, which is comfortable and secure.

Dear All,

Thanks for your help there are a few options. I like the design shown in the photo which will be good in five years time at the moment I want something at about half height so that 'little legs' reach to deck!

Cheers

Our lad was on it from about 4 years old. He put his feet on the upper bar whilst under way.

We have a specialist stainless steel fabricator who has worked for us before, and has done a great job for us and for other people as well.

If you can send me a diagram, with sizings, I can get a price for you.

Specify 304 or 316 (316 is much better in a marine environment, but is more expensive. 304 might rust); plus the size (external diameters) of any tubings.

We are based in the north west, so not too far away!
