Wanted: WANTED - GPS antenna for Trackfish 6600

Does anyone have a working Navman GPS antenna for a Trackfish 6600 surplus to their requirements?

I've fitted a 2nd hand Trackfish 6600 to my 4.7 Searider for the Round Ireland challenge, and have linked it to my other Navman plotter to get the GPS signal. To be safe I'd rather have a totally separate antenna fitted if possible just in case the other unit fails on the way round Ireland!

Thanks - the Trackfish 6600 needs the one with the yellow 6-pin connector rather than the Gold single pin one used on many of the other Northstar/Navman units.

I think it needs to be the Navman 1240 GPS or similar.

Yes - that's the one.
I ordered one on e-bay on 25th March, which should have arrived by now - but it hasn't so I may still be looking for one.

I'll let you know after Easter as I doubt we'll get deliveries before Tuesday.

Sorry to take so long getting back to you on this - do you still have the GPS antenna mentioned above?

The NMEA one I bought works fine - but what I didn't realise is that if I want to use a smartcraft gateway as well as the NMEA antenna I bought, I run out of sockets on the Trackfish 6600 as they both use the same Port.

I think if I use the Navman antenna I can plug it into a different one as it's NAVBUS rather than NMEA.
