WANTED: 15HP outboard engine

...having been let down elsewhere I'm looking for an outboard to power a Quicksilver 340 Airdeck.

... been told a 2 stroke would be ideal (nice if I can be able to pull a donut for my lad), but happy to consider 4-strk too.

Any advice or offers appreciated folks!

I've got a 2001 Mercury 10hp here for £450, if it's any use to you?

Many thanks for that kind offer... as I was promised a 15hp previously (that didn't come off) I've created an expectation with my lad that I'll be towing him and his mates around on a donut this summer.... I understand towing 1 person will need 15hp min, so am now bound by my earlier promise mate!

Thanks though - otherwise it would have been ideal..

The 10hp & 15hp Mercs share the same basic mechanics. I haven't checked what the physical differences in the components are. Perhaps 'Turbodiesel' will chip in with the info.
