I would. I have two quotes from suppliers but I thought I would check whether there is one in someone's garage first! What do you supply?

It's the oddest thing - you think you're having a productive conversation with someone (who refuses to get a Trade Membership) and the next thing *poof!* - Total Silence.

Freaky

It's quite remarkable the number of posts clearly in the trade without the membership. It's £100 ffs (can I say that)!!! Glad it's not my job to convert them

Considering how much he'd make on just one sale, you'd think he'd cough up.

Must be a bit dim. I wouldn't be giving money to someone that dim...

Trade Membership or The Sword!

Actually, there's not as many as you'd think (in breach). Sale of RIBs in the American forum does not require a Trade Membership (provided the RIB is IN North America, Peter ). Anyone can sell two RIBs a year anywhere without Trade Membership and there are a myriad of chancers who post one or two tries but get no further . In the interests of continuity, these tend to get left on the forum - this thread is a good example of the confusion that results when you pull them.

If a Trade Member has reason to believe that there are breaches in the rules, they should put their Tax Dollars to work and grass the offenders up to a helpful mod.

When you're putting £100 annually in our Cocktail Hour kitty, you can say pretty much anything you like...

Yep

I think I've only ever actually banned one account for it that wasn't a scammer. They usually stop after a warning.

It is always nice knowing whether there is an agenda when chatting! At least when I communicate with dock suppliers I know what the deal is.
