Is this plated at 4500kg on 50mm ball with over run brakes?

Did I read somewhere you had a delivery to Orkney? Can you double up the load and I will sort you out up here with my crane. Ta Davie

Wouldn't be able to run that at 4500 on the roads with those brakes. Max 3500. Presume the 4500 is what the total of the axles are rated to?

Doesn't appear to be air / air over hydraulic.

Looks like 3 x 1.5t Peak axles to me (hence the misnomer of 4.5t)

The max you can run on UK roads, on auto-reverse brakes is 3.5t MAM/GVW.

But Peter's a smart chap and will know this already (clearly TimM is too).

Maybe the transport company don't. Careful if you're after 4.5t - this won't let you do it.... legally...

Don't shoot the messenger I've simply re-posted what was advised. I'm not aware of its spec or detail. Google tony tugboats for full details and speak with him (Tony Anderson) directly.

The Orkney (was actually Stornaway) run has been done so I'm not heading through, Tony runs a boat delivery company though and I'm sure he'd be able to get it wherever it needs to be. He's often travelling throughout Europe so is always worth a shout if you need something moved
